Goal

Capture information about Crocs customers while increasing brand awareness on the 2007 mobile tour of high-profile sporting events from NASCAR’s Daytona 500 to NCAA football and basketball games nationwide.

Solution

Crocs used NikaTec event technology to create a solution to both capture data and automate follow-up immediately after events. The customer data capture application was customized to fit the Crocs brand and encourage survey participants to “opt-in” to a sweepstakes for Crocs footwear and promotional items.

Result

Post-event reports presented valuable brand insight to Crocs corporate stakeholders:
• 83.9% of respondents were more likely to consider purchasing Crocs based on their event experience with the brand
• 71.6% perceived Crocs as indicative of a relaxed lifestyle
The automated customer re-contact component of the solution sent personalized e-mail messages to participants within 24 hours of each event, thanking them for attending and continuing the relationship.
